EasyRBR 1.0

A huge number of high-quality mods for the rally simulator RBR are freely available on the internet.
Not long after the release of Richard Burns Rally (RBR), the Czech community provided a very stable online tournament platform on which online championships could be organized. They also provided a great tool, Wallaby, to create new rally tracks.

In recent years, the RBR community has provided over 200 new cars and many new rally special stages from all over the world.

However, installing and setting up these mods is a challenge. Not to mention finding the right mods on the internet.

And for these tasks, we are developing EasyRBR.
We want to make things easy for both beginners and veteran RBR players.

So no more endless internet searches for suitable mods, no need to move all kinds of files, and no need to modify configuration files yourself.
Our goal is for EasyRBR to perform all these tasks for you.

The car manager and track manager are completely finished.
We will continue to add new features in the future.
EasyRBR has an update system, so further updates are downloaded and installed automatically.

Below you will find a small installer that will help you install EasyRBR on your computer.
We do not recommend installing EasyRBR in the Richard Burns Rally game folder.

If EasyRBR has trouble connecting to the Internet, you may still need to install the 32-bit version of Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013.
Installer link from Microsoft: https://download.microsoft.com/download/2/E/6/2E61CFA4-993B-4DD4-91DA-3737CD5CD6E3/vcredist_x86.exe

Our advice is, to always make a backup of your installation before you start using EasyRBR.

Hi. There is one problem in EasyRBR tool now when WorkerBee has published Fixup 4.x version with FMOD audio support. At launch time EasyRBR checks the version of Fixup plugin and complains that the Fixup plugin is at wrong version. Well, the problem is that the Fixup plugin in use is the newer version than EasyRBR expects to see. Maybe EasyRBR could give this warning only if the plugin is older than expected or gives an option to continue even when plugins are not exactly what EasyRBR was built to detect? I guess EasyRBR doesn’t have to be binary compatible… Read more »

Hi. I have created an addon plugin to RBR showing details of cars (NGP physic specs) and a “real” preview image of the car with a custom livery in “Select Car” in-game menus. https://github.com/mika-n/NGPCarMenu Until now I had been using RBRCIT tool to install new cars, but managing custom liveries was a bit of a pain with it. I recently discovered this EasyRBR tool and it really seems to take car management to the next level. Especially ability to install and manage custom liveries is great relief. Thanks. Therefore I added EasyRBR support to NGPCarMenu plugin showing 3D model and… Read more »

Thanks for the updates to Easy RBR – I think the track installer is a great addition. Soon Easy RBR will be a one stop shop as it were where all you need is Easy RBR to play Richard Burns Rally. Thanks for adding the column with the car transmissions – little details like this make Easy RBR so good. Paul

This is how it sounds. It completely ruins the immersion. I tried to find a way to fix it, but I didn’t find anything.
So it would be better if i had the option to not install the Pacenote plugin
